Homemade Weight Watchers Basil Pesto Recipe. Pesto makes a great sauce or condiment to add some flare to your meal. This quick and easy recipe is ready in just 15 minutes.
In a food processor, add fresh basil, olive oill, and grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
Pulse food processor to mix.
In the food processor, add garlic, pine nuts, salt, and black pepper.
Pulse until pesto is well combined and smooth.
To Store:
If not using immediately, lay out a sheet of plastic wrap on a flat surface.
Roll the plastic wrap around the pesto for form into the shape of a tube.
Seal the plastic wrap around the pesto.
Keep in the refrigerator until need, then cut a slice off the tube in the amount you need.
