bulk ground italian sausage

chopped

ground beef

dried marjoram

garlic powder

dried italian seasoning

can
(6 oz) tomato paste
1
can
(29 oz) tomato sauce
1
can
(14 1/2 oz) Italian-style stewed tomatoes
1
can
(14 1/2 oz) Italian-style diced tomatoes
½
tsp
dried oregano
2
tsp
garlic powder
¼
tsp
dried basil
¼
tsp
dried thyme leaves

sugar
Instructions
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Add in Italian sausage and unions.
Cook, stirring often until the sausage is browned, approx 10 minutes.
Transfer the onions and Italian sausage to the slow cooker.
Using the same skillet, add ground beef, marjoram, 1 tsp garlic powder, Italian seasoning.
Cook, breaking up the ground beef as you go, until the ground beef is browned. Approx 10 minutes.
Transfer the ground beef mix to the slow cooker.
In the slow cooker, stir in the tomato paste, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, oregano, 2 tsp garlic powder, basil, thyme.
Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
Stir in the sugar in the last 15 minutes.
