Weight Watchers Marshmallow Crispy Treats Recipe. A classic treat, or dessert! Great to pack in the kid's school lunch, or have for an after-school snack. This light, vintage, goody is quick and easy to make and is ready in 15 minutes.
Prepare a 13 x 9 baking pan by coating with butter, or non-stick cooking spray.
Place a large saucepan over low heat.
Add butter and stir until melted.
Place marshmallows in saucepan stir constantly until marshmallows are melted and combined well with the butter.
Cook and stir constantly for 2 minutes.
Remove saucepan from heat.
Add crispy rice cereal, and quickly stir to mix well.
Place mixture in prepared 13 x 9 inch baking pan,
Fold wax paper in half and place on top of mixture. (this will protect your hands from the heat),
Press down on the wax paper to flatten the mixture into a firmly packed, even layer.
Allow to cool.
Using a sharp knife, cut the treats into 2 x 2 inch squares.
