Place the crust on a baking sheet and leave it there.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, egg substitute, and lime juice until everything is mixed well.
Pour the mixture into the crust, making sure it fills the crust evenly.
Bake the pie in the oven until the center looks firm, but still moves a little when you tap it. This should take about 15 minutes.
Take the pie out of the oven and place it on a wire rack to cool down completely.
Once the pie has cooled down, put it in the refrigerator and let it chill for 1 to 2 hours.
Remove the chilled pie from the refrigerator and cut it into 12 slices.
For each slice, add 1 tablespoon of whipped topping on top as a garnish.
