Small Sauce Pan
1% low-fat milk
spicy brown mustard
light cheddar cheese
hot pepper sauce
grated parmesan cheese
light whole grain bread
deli turkey breast
crisp-cooked and cut in half
For the Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine flour and milk.
Cook and stir often, until sauce thickens and comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer approx 3 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in the mustard, cheddar cheese, pepper sauce, and 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese.
For the Sandwich
Place the toasted bread into 4 individual casserole dishes. Place tomato slices on bread, top with turkey. Spoon sauce over top, and sprinkle with the 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese.
Place casserole dishes on baking sheet and broil, approx 5 inches from heat, until hot and sauce begins to brown.
Top each with 2 pieces of turkey bacon.
