Simple Weight Watchers Mini Crab Cakes without Bread Crumbs Recipe. A quick and easy appetizer, or side dish that's ready in just 25 minutes, making it perfect when you have last minute guests.
In a large mixing bowl, add blue crab meat, eggs, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, mayonnaise, worcestershire sauce, baking powder, fresh parsley, and old bay seasoning.
Stir to mix well.
Place a large skillet over medium/high heat.
In the skillet, add canola oil to heat.
Drop tablespoons of batter in skillet, carefully. The crab cakes should be approximately 1½ inches wide.
Cook approximately 2 minutes, then using a spatula, flip the crab cakes over and cook the other side for approximately 1 minute, or until firm.
For the Sauce:
In a small mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, mustard, and lemon juice.
Stir to mix well.
Store sauce in the refrigerator until serving.
Notes
The crab mix will be loose when you drop it in the pan. The eggs act as a binding agent, so they will firm up, and hold together as they cook.MyWW Points: 1 Green Plan,1 WW Smart PointsWe are not associated with Weight Watchers/WW in any way. Double check points on their official calculator.
