Instructions
Using an apple corer, core the apples. Don't go through the bottom, leave the bottom unbroken.
In a small mixing bowl, add nutmeg, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix well.
Fill the apples with the mix using a spoon.
Place 1 teaspoon of butter on top of each apple
Place prepared apples in a deep, microwave safe casserole dish and cover.
Microwave the apples for 3½ - 4 minutes or until they are tender.
Let the apples rest for 2 - 3 minutes before serving.
