Weight Watchers Microwave Baked Apples
Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp butter
Instructions
- Using an apple corer, core the apples. Don't go through the bottom, leave the bottom unbroken.
- In a small mixing bowl, add nutmeg, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Fill the apples with the mix using a spoon.
- Place 1 teaspoon of butter on top of each apple
- Place prepared apples in a deep, microwave safe casserole dish and cover.
- Microwave the apples for 3½ – 4 minutes or until they are tender.
- Let the apples rest for 2 – 3 minutes before serving.
