Simple Hollandaise Sauce (Weight Watchers) Recipe. This classic sauce is easy to make, and adds something special to your favorite eggs, vegetables, chicken, beef, or seafood
Add water to the bottom of a double boiler and place over low heat and bring to a low simmer. (Don't let it get too hot or you will end up with scrambled eggs.)
In the meantime, in a small metal bowl, add egg yolks and water.
Whisk until the mixture is frothy, using a stainless steel whisk,
Place the metal bowl on over the double boiler.
Whisk the mixture continually until it becomes thickened.
Take off of the heat continuing to whisk the mixture until it begins to cool a bit.
Whisk in the melted butter slowly.
Whisk in salt and white pepper.
