Cut potatoes into thin slices, no more than 1/8-inch thick, using a food processor or by hand.
Place potato slices on baking sheets without overlapping.
Coat slices with oil.
Add salt on top.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Allow chips to cool on a rack.
