In a large saucepan, add broth, carrots, peas, and garlic.
Turn the stove to high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Add broccoli and tortellini to the saucepan.
Turn the heat down to medium-low.
Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Add the chicken to the saucepan.
Continue to simmer until the tortellini and broccoli are tender, which should take about 3 minutes.
