Chicken Bacon Ranch Egg Bites are basically breakfast with a little more personality.

Chicken and bacon make them hearty, cheddar adds plenty of savory flavor, and ranch seasoning ties everything together without needing a long list of spices.

Cottage cheese keeps the egg mixture soft instead of dry or rubbery, and the green onions add a little freshness to balance the richer ingredients.

Everything gets baked in a muffin pan, so there’s no slicing or guessing at portions afterward.

Two egg bites make one serving, which makes these especially handy for meal prep.

They’re also pretty practical when mornings get rushed. Make a batch, keep them in the refrigerator, and breakfast is mostly handled for the next few days.

A standard muffin pan keeps the portions even, while a large mixing bowl gives enough room to stir in all that chicken, bacon, and cheese without making a mess.

Why You’ll Love This Chicken Bacon Ranch Egg Bites

Plenty of Protein

With chicken, eggs, cottage cheese, bacon, and cheddar in the mix, each serving has 23 grams of protein. These have some staying power.

Familiar Chicken Bacon Ranch Flavor

Chicken, crispy bacon, cheddar, and ranch seasoning are an easy combination to like. Nothing complicated going on here.

Great for Meal Prep

One batch makes 12 egg bites, or six servings. Store them in the refrigerator and reheat a couple whenever breakfast needs to happen fast.

Soft, Tender Texture

The cottage cheese and milk help keep the eggs tender instead of dense. The chopped chicken and bacon add texture without making the bites bulky.

Easy to Portion

No cutting required. Two egg bites make a serving, so breakfast is already divided and ready to go.

Ingredient Substitutions

Bacon

Turkey bacon can replace the center-cut bacon. Cook it until crisp before chopping and adding it to the egg mixture.

Cheddar Cheese

Reduced-fat Monterey Jack or Colby Jack can replace the sharp cheddar. Either one will melt well and keep the flavor mild.

Green Onions

Finely chopped chives can replace the green onions if that’s what’s available.

Low-Fat Milk

Fat-free milk or regular milk can be used in the same amount.
