Ingredients
 

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Turn on the Instant Pot and select the Sauté function.
  • Add olive oil and heat until hot.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the pot and brown both sides for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle salt over the chicken.
  • Pour in the water and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
  • Cancel the Sauté function.
  • Close and lock the lid.
  • Select high pressure and set the timer for 10 minutes.
  • Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
  • When cooking is complete, release the pressure using the quick-release method.
  • Remove the lid.
  • Dice, shred, or slice the chicken as desired for serving.
