Tips and Tricks
Spices
Adjust the chili powder and cumin to your taste. If you prefer a milder flavor, start with less and add more if needed.
Cauliflower
Cut the cauliflower into even-sized florets to ensure they cook uniformly. Smaller pieces will cook faster and get crispier.
Baking Sheet
Use parchment paper instead of cooking spray for easier cleanup and to prevent sticking.
Oven Temperature
Ensure your oven is fully preheated to 400 degrees F before placing the cauliflower inside. This helps achieve a better roast.
Stirring
Stir the cauliflower halfway through baking to ensure even roasting. This helps prevent burning on one side.
Tenderness
Test the cauliflower with a fork to check for tenderness. If you prefer it softer, bake for a few extra minutes.
Serving
For extra flavor, squeeze a bit of fresh lime juice over the roasted cauliflower before serving. This adds a fresh, zesty touch.
Storage
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the oven or on the stovetop to retain the crispy texture.
