Weight Watchers Lemon Pepper Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed and rinsed
- 2 tbsp butter
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- 2 tsp lemon pepper
Instructions
- In a steamer, boil 1 inch of water.
- Add green beans to the top of the steamer.
- Cover and steam approx 10 minutes, or until tender but firm.
- While waiting for the beans to steam, add butter in a skillet.
- Over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add almonds to skillet and saute until lightly browned.
- Season almonds with lemon pepper.
- In a colander, drain any water off of the steamed green beans
- Stir green beans into the skillet and toss to coat.
