Ingredients you will need:
- 2 medium apples
- 2 medium pears
- 6 tsp sugar substitute
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
How to make:
- Preheat the oven at 325° F
- Prepare 2 baking sheets by spraying with Pam cooking spray
- Using a mandoline (or a sharp knife), slice the apples and the pears thinly approx ⅛ of an inch.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine sugar substitute and cinnamon. Stir to mix well.
- Place the pear and apple slices on prepared baking sheet in a single layer
- Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar substitute mix on pear and apple slices
- Bake in preheated oven approx 40 – 45 minutes, turning chips over half way through cooking. The pear and apple chips should be dry with the edges curling – adjust cooking time accordingly
- Move the chips to wire cooking racks. They will crisp up more as they cool.
