Ingredients
 

  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp  orange juice 
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, add raspberries, orange juice, and sugar.
  • In a small mixing bowl, add water, and whisk in the cornstarch until dissolved.
  • Stir in the cornstarch/water mix into the raspberry mix.
  • Over medium/high heat, bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes while stirring constantly. As it cools, the raspberry sauce will get thicker.
  • Using an immersion blender, or a regular blender, puree sauce.
  • Using a fine mesh colander, strain the sauce.
