Maple Pumpkin Yogurt Dip is such a fun way to use pumpkin when you’re not in the mood to bake anything.
You still get those cozy fall flavors, but there’s no oven involved, no complicated prep, and hardly any cleanup. Just a creamy, lightly sweet dip that’s ready for the refrigerator in about 10 minutes.
The Greek yogurt gives it a little tang, so it’s not overly sweet like some pumpkin dessert dips. And the maple syrup? So good with the cinnamon, nutmeg, and other warm spices. You can adjust the sweetness if you prefer your pumpkin snacks a little less sugary.
All you need is a mixing bowl and a wire whisk. Seriously, that’s about it. After a short stay in the refrigerator, you can serve it with crisp apple slices, pears, graham crackers, or whatever sounds good.
This is a nice option for a fall snack board, Halloween gathering, or Thanksgiving appetizer spread. It’s also easy to make ahead, which is always helpful when you have other food to prepare.

Why You’ll Love This Maple Pumpkin Yogurt Dip
No Baking, No Fuss
Ten minutes of prep, and you’re basically finished. No stove, no oven, and no special equipment. You just need to give the dip a little time in the refrigerator before serving.
Sweet, but Not Too Sweet
Some pumpkin dips taste more like frosting. This one is different. The plain Greek yogurt adds a slight tang, and the maple syrup gives it just enough sweetness for dipping fruit or cookies.
So Many Things to Dip
Apple slices are an easy choice, especially during fall. But don’t stop there. Pears, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, and pretzels are all good options. A mix of sweet and salty dippers makes a fun snack board.
A Lighter Pumpkin Dessert Option
Using nonfat Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese keeps this dip low in fat. You still get a thick, creamy texture without needing heavy cream or whipped topping.
Make It Before the Party
You can prepare the dip the day before you need it. Just keep it covered in the refrigerator, then give it a quick stir before serving. One less thing to worry about when guests arrive.

Ingredient Substitutions
Plain Greek Yogurt
Full-fat or 2% Greek yogurt works if you prefer a richer dip. Regular plain yogurt is another option, although the dip will be thinner. Stick with Greek yogurt if you want a thicker consistency.
Pure Maple Syrup
Honey works as a substitute for maple syrup. Use the same amount, but expect a slightly different flavor. You can also start with less sweetener and adjust to your preference.
Pumpkin Pie Spice
Don’t have all the individual spices? Use about 1½ teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice in place of the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Check the flavor before adding more.
Vanilla Greek Yogurt
Vanilla Greek yogurt can replace plain Greek yogurt. Since it’s usually already sweetened, reduce the maple syrup at first. You may also want to leave out the vanilla extract.
Dairy-Free Yogurt
A thick, plain dairy-free yogurt can work if you need a vegan version. Coconut-based yogurt is an option, but it may change the flavor and nutritional information. Use maple syrup rather than honey to keep it vegan.

Tips and Tricks
Use Pure Pumpkin – Make sure you’re using plain pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling. The pie filling already contains sweeteners and spices. Adjust the Sweetness – Start with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup if you prefer a less sweet dip. You can always add the remaining tablespoon after tasting. Make It Thicker – Choose a thick Greek yogurt. If your yogurt has separated in the container, pour off the excess liquid before measuring. Keep the Dippers Fresh – If you’re serving apple or pear slices, toss them with a little lemon juice to help prevent browning. Serve It Cold – This dip tastes best chilled. For parties, serve smaller portions and replenish them from the refrigerator as needed.Storing
Refrigerator – Store the pumpkin yogurt dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Stir before serving if any liquid separates. Freezer – Freezing isn’t recommended because Greek yogurt can become grainy or watery after thawing. Make Ahead – Prepare the dip up to a day before serving. Keep it refrigerated and add any garnishes just before serving.Nutrition
