  • If dough is too sticky, add more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, until no longer sticky.
  • Turn dough out onto a lightly floured sheet of parchment paper.
  • Divide dough into 4 equal portions.
  • Roll each portion into a 6-inch rope.
  • Place bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake at 375°F until just starting to brown and cooked through, 18 to 20 minutes.
  • Increase oven temperature to 425°F.
  • Cool bagels for 10 minutes.
  • Cut bagels in half using a serrated knife and arrange on pan, cut side up.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over bagels.
  • Top evenly with cheese and pepperoni.
