  • Preheat the oven to 375° F
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, or a stand mixer, cream together butter, brown sugar, and canola oil.
  • Mix in egg white, salt, and vanilla.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine flour and baking soda. Mix well.
  • Add flour mixture to wet mixture. Mix well.
  • Mix in chocolate chips.
  • On a non-stick baking sheet, drop dough by rounded half-teaspoons,
  • Bake in preheated oven for 4 to 6 minutes.
  • Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
