  • Preheat oven to 350° F
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda, ginger, cloves, molasses, eggs, hot water, and butter.
  • Line a muffin tin with muffin cups. (makes 36 muffins)
  • Add batter to muffin cups.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden.

Notes

Batter can be made ahead of time and stored covered in the refrigerator.
