Weight Watchers Lemon Sorbet
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 lemon (peel only) diced fine
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup carbonated mineral water
- ½ cup lemon juice
Instructions
- Add in saucepan, water, lemon peel, and sugar. Stir to mix.
- Bring contents to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for Five Minutes.
- Remove saucepan from heat and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, add contents of saucepan, mineral water, and lemon juice. Stir to mix.
With Ice Cream Machine
- Carefully pour contents of the bowl into an ice cream machine, and follow machine instructions.
Without Ice Cream Machine
- Pour contents into a freezer safe container. Place in freezer for 1½ hours.
- Stir with a wire whisk. Return to freezer for 1 hour. Stir and repeat for 4 hours. Don't skip this, this is what makes it light and airy.
