Instructions
 

  • Add in saucepan, water, lemon peel, and sugar. Stir to mix.
  • Bring contents to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for Five Minutes.
  • Remove saucepan from heat and let cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add contents of saucepan, mineral water, and lemon juice. Stir to mix.

With Ice Cream Machine

  • Carefully pour contents of the bowl into an ice cream machine, and follow machine instructions.

Without Ice Cream Machine

  • Pour contents into a freezer safe container. Place in freezer for 1½ hours.
  • Stir with a wire whisk. Return to freezer for 1 hour. Stir and repeat for 4 hours. Don't skip this, this is what makes it light and airy.
