Weight Watchers Marshmallow Crispy Treats
Ingredients
- ΒΌ cup butter
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- 5 cups crisp rice cereal
Instructions
- Prepare a 13 x 9 baking pan by coating with butter, or non-stick cooking spray.
- Place a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add butter and stir until melted.
- Place marshmallows in saucepan stir constantly until marshmallows are melted and combined well with the butter.
- Cook and stir constantly for 2 minutes.
- Remove saucepan from heat.
- Add crispy rice cereal, and quickly stir to mix well.
- Place mixture in prepared 13 x 9 inch baking pan,
- Fold wax paper in half and place on top of mixture. (this will protect your hands from the heat),
- Press down on the wax paper to flatten the mixture into a firmly packed, even layer.
- Allow to cool.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the treats into 2 x 2 inch squares.
