Weight Watchers Quick and Easy Dumplings Recipe
Southern cooking is all about comfort food, and nothing is more comforting than a big bowl of homemade dumplings. While they might seem like they’re tough to make from scratch, dumplings are actually quite simple and only require a few ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.
This classic Southern recipe is made with all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, margarine, and milk. They are quick and easy, and ready in just 20 minutes, so they are perfect when you don’t have a lot of time to prepare dinner for your family.
The key to tender, fluffy dumplings is to not over-mix the dough. Once the ingredients are combined, gently fold the dough until it comes together. Then, use a spoon or your hands to form small balls before dropping them into your simmering soup or stew.
In just a few minutes, you’ll have Southern-style dumplings that will satisfy any craving.
