Tips and Tricks
Shrimp
Ensure the shrimp are fully peeled and deveined. This helps them cook evenly and makes them easier to eat.
Marinating
Let the shrimp marinate in the mixture for about 10-15 minutes before baking. This allows the flavors to penetrate the shrimp for a more intense taste.
Mixing Bowl
Use a medium-sized mixing bowl to toss the shrimp in the marinade. Make sure all the shrimp are evenly coated.
Baking Dish
Spray the baking dish generously with olive oil flavored cooking spray to prevent sticking and to add a hint of flavor.
Cooking Time
Keep an eye on the shrimp as they bake. Shrimp cook quickly and can become rubbery if overcooked. They are done when they turn pink and opaque.
Stirring
Stir the shrimp once or twice during baking to ensure they cook evenly and are well-coated with the marinade.
Serving
Serve the shrimp hot, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or a squeeze of lemon juice for added freshness.
Storage
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat gently in the oven or on the stovetop to avoid overcooking the shrimp.
Variation
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade for a bit of heat. You can also use fresh herbs instead of dried parsley for a more vibrant flavor.
Presentation
Serve the shrimp over a bed of rice or alongside a fresh salad for a complete meal. Garnish with lemon wedges for a bright, zesty finish.
