Quick and Easy Weight Watchers Herbed Vinegar
Ingredients
- 1 quart distilled white vinegar
- 8 sprigs fresh thyme washed and dried
- 8 sprigs fresh rosemary washed and dried
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves washed, dried and packed
- 3 strips orange zest cut into 3½-inch pieces
- 8 whole black peppercorns
- 5 allspice berries
- 1 cinnamon stick split lengthwise
Instructions
- Place a medium sized saucepan over medium/high heat.
- Add distilled white vinegar and bring to a boil.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients and boil for 1 minute.
- Transfer to sterilized a 1 quart jar.
- Store in a dark, cool location for at least 2 weeks before using.
