- ¾ cup frozen chopped broccoli florets thawed
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon minced garlic
- ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¾ cup cooked whole wheat penne pasta
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe dish, combine broccoli, oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Cover the dish and microwave until the broccoli has become tender.
- Add in pasta, salt, and pepper and mix well.
- Re-cover the dish and microwave until the pasta is hot.
