Weight Watchers Asian Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- ½ cup hoisin sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup ginger ale
- 2 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
- ½ teaspoon five-spice powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Cook the ingredients on medium heat while stirring every now and then until the sauce starts to simmer.
- Turn down the heat to low and keep cooking until the sauce becomes as thick as you like, about 5 minutes.
- Allow the sauce to cool down for 10 minutes before serving.
- Put the sauce in a container made of plastic or glass, and cover it up.
- Keep the container in the fridge and you can use the sauce for up to 1 week.
