Tips and Tricks for Weight Watchers Crispy Air Fryer Broccoli

Preheating Your Air Fryer

If your air fryer has a preheat setting, don’t skip this step. Preheating helps achieve a more even and crispy finish on your broccoli, making it tastier and more enjoyable to eat.

Using Fresh Broccoli

For the best results, use fresh broccoli florets instead of frozen. Fresh broccoli will crisp up better in the air fryer, giving you that perfect crunch with every bite.

Adjusting Spices

Don’t hesitate to tweak the spices according to your preference. If you’re not a fan of heat, you can leave out the crushed red pepper. Alternatively, if you love a little extra zing, consider adding more.

Properly Coating the Broccoli

Ensure all the broccoli florets are evenly coated with the olive oil and cheese mixture. This not only helps the spices stick but also ensures each piece crisps up nicely.

Avoid Overcrowding

For the crispiest results, don’t overload the air fryer basket. Spread the broccoli in a single layer, giving them space to breathe. This might mean cooking in batches, but it’s worth it for that perfect texture.
