Weight Watchers Favorite Coffee Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup liquid egg substitute
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1¼ teaspoon salt
- 1¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup fat-free whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- Coat a bundt pan with cooking spray.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the applesauce, sugar, and egg substitute.
- Mix the ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
- Add the flour mixture to the applesauce mixture in a third at a time.
- Mix the ingredients until completely incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Note that the batter will only come partly up the pan.
- Bake the mixture until it turns golden brown, which should take about 45 to 50 minutes.
