Tips and Tricks
Choosing Bananas
Pick bananas that are ripe but still firm. They should have a few brown spots but not be mushy, ensuring they hold up well during grilling.
Toasting Pecans
Toasting the pecans brings out their natural flavor. Be sure to keep an eye on them and shake the pan frequently to avoid burning.
Maple Syrup
Use real maple syrup for the best flavor. The rich, natural sweetness pairs perfectly with the bananas and cinnamon.
Grilling
Make sure your grill or grill pan is well-heated before adding the bananas. This helps create those nice grill marks and ensures even cooking.
Serving
Serve the bananas hot off the grill for the best taste. If you want to make them extra special, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
