Featured Ingredients
Fresh Dill
Dill is a popular herb that features prominently in many cuisines. It has a unique flavor that is both minty and lemony, with a hint of sweetness.
Dill can be used fresh or dried, and is often used to flavor soups, stews, and sauces. It is also a popular addition to pickles and other fermented foods.
Dill can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week, or it can be frozen for longer-term storage.
Garlic Salt
Garlic salt is a common seasoning made from equal parts garlic powder and salt. It can be used to add flavor to many different dishes, from roasted vegetables to grilled meats.
While it is convenient to have on hand, garlic salt can also be easily made at home.
To make your own garlic salt, simply combine garlic powder and salt in a bowl, then use a grinder or mortar and pestle to blend the two ingredients together. Once the desired consistency is achieved, store the mixture in an airtight container.
Homemade garlic salt will keep for several months when stored in a cool, dark place.
