  • In a saucepan, brown the beef tips in vegetable oil. Move beef tips to the slow cooker.
  • Using the same saucepan, add onions and saute. Move to the slow cooker, placing on top of the beef tips.
  • In the same saucepan, add the mushroom soup, water, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to mix, and heat. Add to slow cooker.
  • Turn on slow cooker to high setting for 1 hour. Reduce heat setting to low and cook an additional 4 – 5 hours.
  • Stir in sour cream in the last 15 minutes of cook time.
