Tips and Tricks

Measuring Flour

Use a spoon to scoop the flour into your measuring cup and level it off with a knife. This prevents overpacking and ensures accurate measurements for the best cookie texture.

Using Room Temperature Ingredients

Make sure your eggs and butter are at room temperature before mixing. This helps them blend more smoothly and evenly, resulting in better cookies.

Baking Time

Keep an eye on the cookies in the oven. Bake until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft. They’ll firm up as they cool, ensuring a chewy texture.

Storing Cookies

Store your cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh. If you want them to stay soft, add a slice of bread to the container; it helps maintain moisture.

Freezing Dough

You can freeze the cookie dough for later use. Just scoop the dough onto a baking sheet, freeze until solid, then transfer to a zip-top bag. Bake straight from the freezer, adding a couple of minutes to the baking time.

Dumb question. WW newbie here, is the 3 points per cookie or per the entire batch?

    • Nesting Lane

Hi Brittney, Not a dumb question. The points are “per serving”. This recipe makes 40 cookies, and has 40 servings, so it’s per cookie here. Thanks for asking!
