Tips and Tricks
Marinating for Maximum Flavor
Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, but for the best flavor, aim for a few hours or overnight. This allows the teriyaki sauce to fully infuse the chicken.
Proper Grill Temperature
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. This ensures the chicken cooks evenly and achieves a nice char without burning.
Basting for Extra Flavor
While grilling, baste the chicken with extra teriyaki sauce. This adds an extra layer of flavor and keeps the chicken moist.
Using a Meat Thermometer
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken. It should reach 165°F to ensure it’s fully cooked and safe to eat.
Letting the Chicken Rest
After grilling, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices, making the chicken more tender and flavorful.
