Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients
- 2 pounds skinless boneless chicken thigh
- 1 can (28ozs) crushed tomatoes
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger peeled, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
Instructions
- In a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker, place the chicken, tomatoes, onion, garam masala, sugar, garlic, salt, ginger, coriander, and cumin.
- Cover the slow cooker.
- Cook for 3 to 4 hours on High or for 6 to 8 hours on Low.
- Stir in the yogurt.
