Tips and Tricks

Choosing Ingredients:

Strawberries: For the best flavor, use ripe strawberries that are bright red with little to no white near the stem. If strawberries aren’t in season, thawed frozen strawberries can be a practical substitute.

Eggs: Use fresh, organic eggs if possible for a richer taste and a more nutritious omelet.

Technique Tips:

Low and Slow: Cook your eggs on a low heat to avoid browning and to ensure a tender, fluffy texture.

Folding the Omelet: Be patient when folding the omelet over the strawberries. Ensure the bottom has set enough to hold the filling, but is still soft enough not to break.

Sweetener Options: If you prefer a sweeter omelet, drizzle a little honey or maple syrup over the strawberries.
