Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh tomatoes chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon fresh basil minced
- salt to taste
- crushed red pepper flakes to taste
- 2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 pound 93% lean ground beef
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt, red pepper flakes, and oil. Set it aside.
- Put a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the meat to the skillet and cook it, stirring and breaking it up, until it's fully cooked. This usually takes about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the tomato mixture and cook it for about 3 more minutes until everything is heated through.
