Weight Watchers Turkey Brine Recipe. Brining your Thanksgiving turkey is a must for juicy, flavorful meat. With the right ingredients and time to soak up flavors, you’ll be able to make an amazing feast with minimal effort!

This super easy recipe only takes 10 minutes to make, and will make your turkey foolproof.

Our turkey brine is made with water, canning salt, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Just let the turkey sit in the brine for two days before cooking, and you will have a juicy bird!

What is Turkey Brine

Turkey Brine is a mixture of water and salt, with other spices. The brine can be used to soak turkey in the night before cooking it. The purpose of this is to make the meat moist and flavorful.

  • In a large stockpot, add 2 gallons water, 1½ cups canning salt (see note), ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce, ⅓ cup brown sugar, 3 tablespoons garlic, 1 tablespoon pepper.
  • Stir to mix.
  • Add turkey to brine and place in the refrigerator for 2 days before cooking using the method you wish.

Notes

*** Only use canning salt, do not substitute with table salt etc. Other salts will make the brine too salty.
