Ingredients you will need

  • 2 container plain yogurt
  • 2 medium cucumbers peeled, seeded and diced 
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 3 cloves garlic peeled
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

How to make

  1. In a small mixing bowl, strain yogurt through a cheese cloth for 3 – 4 hours.
  2. In a food processor, add strained yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, cucumber, garlic, dill, salt and black pepper.
  3. Process until mixed well.
  4. Pour into a serving bowl, and cover with plastic wrap
  5. Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour.

What to serve with Tzatziki Sauce

  1. Use as a vegetable dip.
  2. Serve on top of meat.
  3. A dip for bread.
  4. On a sandwich.
  5. A dip for homemade pita chips.
  6. On baked chicken.
  7. On fish.
  8. On salad as a dressing.
