Weight Watchers Zucchini Tots (Air Fryer) Recipe
Weight Watchers Zucchini Tots (Air Fryer) is the ideal appetizer, side dish, or snack for anyone who’s looking for both flavor and nutrition.
With a blend of simple ingredients, you can create these crispy, savory tots that are sure to become a favorite in your household.
The primary ingredients include fresh zucchini, eggs, cheeses, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper. These ingredients come together to create a satisfying texture that’s crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside.
The zucchini adds a touch of freshness, while the cheeses and seasonings bring in just the right amount of flavor.
To complement this delightful snack, consider serving it with a homemade yogurt dip. Combining yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, and salt, this tangy sauce pairs perfectly with the zucchini tots. Together, they create a dish that’s as enjoyable to eat as it is easy to prepare.
What really sets these zucchini tots apart is the fact that they’re air-fried. This means you get all the crunchiness without the extra oil and calories that traditional frying can add.
Finally, don’t hesitate to experiment with the recipe. While it’s fantastic as written, you can always tailor it to your preferences by adding your favorite herbs or adjusting the seasonings.

Weight Watchers Zucchini Tots (Air Fryer)
- 1 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 6 medium zucchini trimmed
- 3 large eggs divided
- ½ cup part-skim mozzarella cheese shredded
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon fresh oregano finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
For the Yogurt Sauce:
- In a medium bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, and salt.
- Place the bowl in the refrigerator until you're ready to use the sauce.
For the Zucchini Tots:
- Grate the zucchini using the finest side of a box grater. You should have about 3 cups of grated zucchini.
- Put the grated zucchini on a clean cloth with low-lint. Squeeze the cloth to remove as much moisture from the zucchini as possible.
- In a large metal bowl, gently mix the grated zucchini with 2 beaten eggs, both cheeses, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper. Squeeze out any excess moisture if needed.
- Use your hands to scoop out 2 tablespoons of the zucchini mixture. Form it into a short log shape and place it on a pan lined with wax paper. Repeat this step with the remaining mixture.
- Beat the remaining egg in a shallow bowl. Place the panko breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl.
- Roll each zucchini tot first in the beaten egg and then in the panko breadcrumbs to coat it evenly. Place the coated tots back on the same pan.
- Freeze the tots on the pan for 2 hours or overnight. This helps them stay together when cooking.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Place the frozen tots on the air fryer tray. If necessary, cook them in batches.
- Air fry the tots at 400°F, gently turning them once, until they are well browned. This should take about 10 minutes.
- Serve the zucchini tots warm with the yogurt sauce on the side.
