That’s where the slow cooker comes in. With this handy appliance, you can throw all of your ingredients into the pot in the morning and let them simmer all day long.
The result is a rich and flavorful sauce that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. Not only is it tasty, cleanup is a breeze since you only have one pot to wash after dinner!
This easy Italian dinner is made with Italian sausage, ground beef, onions, marjoram, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, tomato paste, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, thyme, and a little sugar.
So next time you’re craving some comfort food, give this sauce a try. You’ll be glad you did.
Can you freeze spaghetti sauce
Yes. Spaghetti sauce can be frozen for up to six months. Make sure that the sauce is completely cooled before freezing.
Use an airtight container, or freezer bag to prevent freezer burn and keep the sauce fresh.
Finally, label the container with the date so you know how long it has been frozen.
When you are ready to use the sauce, thaw it in the refrigerator overnight. Then, simply reheat on the stovetop or in the microwave.

Featured Ingredients
Italian Seasoning
Italian seasoning is a blend of dried herbs that are typically used in Italian cuisine.
The most common herbs used in Italian seasoning are oregano, basil, thyme, and rosemary. However, other herbs such as sage, marjoram, and savory can also be found in some blends.
Italian seasoning can be used to flavor a variety of dishes, including pasta, pizza, and chicken. It can also be used as a dry rub for grilled meats or added to bread dough for a flavorful crust.
Whether you’re looking to add a touch of Italy to your cooking or simply want a convenient way to season your food, Italian seasoning is a great option.
Dried Thyme Leaves
Dried thyme leaves are a common ingredient in many recipes. Thyme has an earthy flavor that complements many dishes.
Thyme is a member of the mint family and is native to the Mediterranean region.
It is one of the most popular herbs in French cuisine and is also widely used in Italian and Spanish cooking. Thyme can be used fresh or dried, and it is often added to soups, stews, sauces, and vegetables.
Dried thyme leaves should be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
