Equipment
Ingredients
- 2 cups white self-rising flour
- 1½ cups fat-free plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 450°F.
- In a medium-sized bowl, place the flour and yogurt. Stir them together with a wooden spoon until they're just mixed.
- Use your hands to knead the dough in the bowl until it's smooth. This should take about 2 minutes.
- If the dough feels too sticky, add more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it's not sticky anymore.
- Sprinkle a little flour on a sheet of parchment paper and put the dough on it.
- Roll the dough until it's ½-inch thick.
- Use a 2-inch biscuit cutter to cut out 24 biscuits. You can roll the leftover dough again to make more biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, keeping them 1 inch apart.
- Brush half of the butter over the tops of the biscuits.
- Bake them in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until they turn lightly browned.
- Take the biscuits out and brush them with the remaining butter.
