This version takes advantage of fall flavors like apples and cranberries to create a sweet sauce perfect as an accompaniment to poultry or pork.

Weight Watchers Cinnamon Apple Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1¾ cup water
- ⅔ cup Splenda granular
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1 pkg (.25oz) unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup apples peeled and finely chopped
- ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 can (11oz) mandarin oranges in their own juice
- ¼ cup roasted almonds crushed
Instructions
- Place a medium saucepan over medium heat, add cranberries, sugar, Splenda, and 1¾ cup water.
- Cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a small mixing bowl, add ¼ cup cold water, and whisk in gelatin. Set aside for later.
- In the medium saucepan, stir in the gelatin mix until well combined, and dissolved.
- Stir in apples and cinnamon until well combined.
- Pour cranberry mix into a bowl, place in the refrigerator to chill and set for 5 hours to overnight.
- After chill time, stir mixture well.
- Open the can of mandarin oranges, and drain.
- Using a cutting board, and a sharp knife, chop oranges, and drain again.
- Crush almonds to smaller pieces.
- Add oranges, and almonds to the cranberry mix. Stir to combine well.
