  1. In a saucepan, add carrots.
  2. Cover with water.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and cook to desired doneness.
  5. Using a colander, drain water off carrots.
  6. Transfer carrots to serving bowl
  7. In the saucepan, add butter and melt over medium heat.
  8. Melt butter and add brown sugar and ginger, stirring to blend.
  9. Add brown sugar and ginger. Stir to mix well.
  10. Add sauce to carrots and stir to coat.
