- 4 pounds tomatoes
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200° F
- Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
- Gently squeeze the seeds out of each tomato half.
- Place the tomato halves on a non-stick cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle the tomatoes with salt to taste.
- Bake the tomatoes until they have a leathery texture. Note: This may take all day. Smaller pieces will require less oven time.
- Once dried, store the tomatoes in the refrigerator.
