Weight Watchers Parmesan Chicken Tenders and Marinara Sauce Recipe

Weight Watchers Parmesan Chicken Tenders and Marinara Sauce Recipe. This dinner is straightforward to make, and it’s all about the right mix of ingredients: chicken tenders, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and some egg whites for the coating. No fuss, no frills, just good food.

Wondering what to serve with these tenders? Keep it simple with sides like roasted veggies or a basic salad.

If you’re new to cooking, no worries. This recipe is beginner-friendly. Just make sure to whip your egg whites until they’re foamy. This helps the breadcrumbs and cheese stick to the chicken, making sure it turns out crispy and delicious.

Tips and Tricks

Even Coating

For a more even coating, use one hand for dipping the chicken into the egg whites and the other hand for coating it with breadcrumbs. This helps keep your hands clean and the breading from clumping.

Crispier Tenders

For extra crispy chicken tenders, place a wire rack on top of your baking sheet and arrange the tenders on the rack. This allows hot air to circulate around the tenders, making them crispier all around.

Flavor Boost

Add a teaspoon of Italian seasoning or dried herbs to the breadcrumb mixture for an extra burst of flavor. This enhances the taste and gives the tenders a more aromatic profile.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the chicken tenders with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh green salad for a balanced meal. You can also pair them with whole grain pasta or brown rice for a more substantial dish.

Marinara Sauce

Enhance the flavor of your marinara sauce by adding a pinch of red pepper flakes or a splash of balsamic vinegar before heating. This adds a bit of heat and depth to the sauce, making it a perfect complement to the tenders.

Leftover Storage

Store any leftover chicken tenders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat them in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes to maintain their crispiness. Avoid microwaving, as it can make them soggy.
