If you’re not a fan of spicy, you can cut back on the amount of wasabi.

Made with salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, low-fat mayonnaise, wasabi, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and red bell pepper.

  • In a mixing bowl, plain breadcrumbs, egg, low-fat mayonnaise, wasabi, rice vinegar, tamari, and bell red pepper.
  • Mix to combine well. Add more breadcrumbs if need to make the mixture stick together.
  • Form 6 equal sized patties.
  • Place extra breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Place each cake on the breadcrumbs and lightly press them into the breadcrumbs on both sides.
  • Using non-stick cooking spray, spray each side of the cakes.
  • Place a large skillet over medium/high heat.
  • Add salmon cakes to the skillet, and cook approximately 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the cakes are firm and lightly browned.

Notes

If you’re not a fan of spicy, you can cut back on the amount of wasabi.
