How to make

  1. In a large slow cooker, add ham, lentils, onions, carrots, celery, and minced garlic.
  2. Add dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, black pepper, and bay leaf.
  3. Add chicken broth, water, and tomato sauce.
  4. Stir to mix well.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and set to LOW setting for 11 hours.
  6. Remove and discard bay leaf.
